How to use your professional wax warmer for 100 ml cartridges at home

Waxing with a wax warmer for 100 ml wax cartridges from The Waxing Shop is very easy. For example the Executive wax warmer which is part of the Home Waxing Kit Executive:

Here you can read how it's done:

If you are going to use a wax you have never used before, then first test the wax on a small part of the skin 24 hours before waxing.

1) Place the wax cartridge in the wax warmer. The wax cartridge will remain IN the wax warmer during the entire treatment.

2) Push the cord into the device fully. Insert the plug in the power socket. (Push firmly, even if the light is already on). If you have a wax device with a base station, then push the cartridge warmer fully INTO the contact of the base station. Use both hands for this.

3) After about 30 or 40 minutes (if you use the Executive wax warmer), your wax will have reached an ideal temperature.

4) Disconnect the plug from the wax warmer. The wax will retain the right temperature for about 15 to 20 minutes. Should the treatment take longer, re-insert the plug into the wax warmer for about 5 to 10 minutes.

5) Clean the skin thoroughly and ensure it is free of grease by using the Pre Waxing Lotion from The Waxing Shop. You may apply talcum powder on the skin to be waxed after cleaning. The use of talcum power is always recommended for men, in particular, when waxing the face or chest/back. Using talcum powder before waxing is also recommended if you regularly use a body lotion/oil on the skin to be waxed. This is because oil soluble wax used in the wax cartridges, which will not work well on a greasy/oily surface.

6) Apply the wax in the direction of the hair growth. (When you start, the warm wax is not yet evenly distributed in the roller. As a result, the first few applications of the wax may not be as fluent as required. You can prevent this by rolling it on an unused waxing strip instead of the skin several times before you start waxing, until the waxing roller rolls smoothly. When using the small roller or the mini roller in particular, it is recommended to briefly ‘pre-roll’ on a waxing strip first, until the warm wax is distributed well in the roller mechanism).

7) Then apply a waxing strip on the wax and push the strip in the direction of the hair growth. Keep 1/4 to 1/3 of the waxing strip free of wax so that you may easily remove the waxing strips without coming into contact with the wax.

8) Remove the waxing strip – while keeping the skin taut – with a quick, decisive movement against the direction of the hair growth and parallel to the skin (so along the skin instead of upwards, away from the skin).

You may use the waxing strips several times during a single waxing session (the wax layer/hairs on the strips will then become increasingly thick), unless you wax sensitive parts such as the face/armpits. In this case, it is better to cut the waxing strips into smaller pieces and use them once or twice at most. (When using oil soluble wax, the waxing strips cannot be cleaned after use.)

TIP: On sensitive parts such as the face, armpits and the bikini line, you should not wax the same part of the skin more than once with fluid wax, in order to prevent irritation. So if a few hairs are still visible after waxing, it is better to remove these with tweezers instead of waxing the same skin again.

9) When you have finished waxing, remove the last remnants of wax with the special After Waxing Oil from The Waxing Shop. Apply the oil to the skin immediately (do not use cotton wool or tissue or anything else) and smooth the oil over the skin for some time using massaging movements, until all the wax residue has dissolved.

10) In order to prolong the effect of waxing and remain hair-free for longer, you may apply a Slow Growth ampule from The Waxing Shop if desired.

TIP: Removing wax cartridges from the wax warmer is easiest when the wax cartridge and the wax warmer are lukewarm. Cleaning the wax cartridge warmer (with an oil) will also be easier when the wax has not yet completely cooled down.
